Qmodi is a software system for the logistics industry. Our objective is to bring transparency to the logistics industry by introducing a system of accountability to each component such as the drivers, the motor carriers, the brokers, and the warehouses. We aim to automate many redundancies in the industry to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.

Description
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about design and the experience of the user. The first impression of a website and make or break the experience. You must be a skilled reductionist, someone who can take all the complexities of a system and break them down into simple, easy to use features.
Responsibilities
- Continuously evaluate the User Experience (UX) of every contact point and interaction the user has with the website.
- Immediately execute minor enhancements and make suggestions for board improvements.
- Coordinate with the back-end developers to ensure your concepts are easily executable. Adjust your concepts to integrate efficiently with the back-end team.
- Conceptualize flow of information with project managers and translate to User Interface.

Description
We are looking for a jack of all trades; someone who is 1.) experienced in understanding user experience and implementing front-end UI 2.) can integrate code on the back-end 3.) manage a team of front-end and back-end developers to execute a multitude of tasks. You must be hands on and lead by example.
Responsibilities
- Work with management to translate concepts into detailed tasks for the team to execute.
- Monitor API’s costs, ensure system is calling API’s efficiently and not running over budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and develop ideas for new products and features.
- Help management maintain reports of project progress with detailed, non-technical summaries.
- Staying up-to-date with software industry trends.
- Establish and manage deadlines. When the team is under performing expectations, you will need to step in and allocate your time and skills to ensure the deadline is achieved with a qualitative outcome.
Personal Skills Needed
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and local native languages.
- Strong written communication skills; the ability to translate concepts on to paper in the form a task
- Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks to team members with precise and concise instructions.
- Perform under pressure from management. Management will constantly push you to achieve large, but attainable, goals. You must find a way to achieve the requirements with the resources provided to you.
